It may look a bit silly to some of you to have photos and stills of Skylar’s animated features in our gallery but I’m trying to make the site as complete as possible and provide material for all Skylar’s projects.

It was a bit hard for me to find photos of Skylar’s character as I didn’t watch the movie yet and it’s a small part so there weren’t many things around. I think I may add  a couple of captures in the future to get a better look at it.

Skylar is voicing Roy, here is a small introduction to the character (credit: wreckitralph.wikia.com):

Roy is a Nicelander within the game Fix-It Felix, Jr.  One can identify him by his graying hair and male pattern baldness. At the 30th anniversary party, he is shown wearing a black tuxedo. He comes off as a bit of a worrywart, and acts very nervous and jittery at the slighest provocation. When Ralph appears at the party, he anxiously urges Felix to get rid of him.

I updated the gallery with the first two stills of Skylar in the upcoming TBS series “Ground Floor”.

Ground Floor centers on a 29-year-old successful alpha male who crosses paths with his company’s support staff — a tight-knit group of happy, carefree people — prompting him to realize that he’s not nearly as happy as he thought he was.

Astin will play Brody Moyer, the charming manager who’s a master-of-the-universe in training who works for a top company who begins falling for building supervisor Jennifer (Heelan). For her part, Heelan’s Jennifer is described as sweet, confident and intelligent, even though she never went to college. After a fling with Brody, she sees what a genuinely nice guy he is and makes it her mission to teach him how to loosen up and enjoy life.

Teen Choice Awards Nomination are out and Skylar got nominated for Best Comedy Actor! “Pitch Perfect” is also nominated for Best Comedy film and fellow co-stars Anna Kendrick and Rebel Wilson both got Best Comedy actress nomination for the movie.

Q: All the cast seemed to have a lot of fun shooting this movie, even just seeing each other here today, you are so happy to see each other.
ANNA CAMP: I know. I love those girls so much. I had such a good time working with them, and we really, really bonded. I miss them. I wish we could all do this interview together, but it is nice being with Skylar. He was my best friend there.
SKYLAR ASTIN: I completely agree. Anna and I had a really unique bond, but I had a special bond with everyone in this cast, and, as a whole, we were trouble – we were too much fun!
ANNA: Yeah, we tore up Baton Rouge! We [also] had a good time in New Orleans.
SKYLAR: Those cities will never be the same.
ANNA: We were singing while we were walking around.
SKYLAR: We were singing everywhere.
ANNA: I am sure if you had walked through our hotel you would have heard everyone singing, everyone was practicing their parts and singing. Yes, it was fun.

The film has become a true cult sensation, and to celebrate its release, we caught up with the movie’s leading man Skylar Astin, who is currently on a skyrocket course through Hollywood, making a huge impression here that will be followed up with 21 & Over early in the new year.

A really fun interview, Skylar Astin let is in on all the behind-the-scenes info about this hit comedy, hinted at a sequel, and offered up a sneak preview of 21 & Over.

Good! So you know we’ve been promoting Pitch Perfect since it was announced…

Skylar Astin: Yes I do! And I know you guys have been promoting 21 & Over, and Wreck-It Ralph. I check you guys out all the time. My brother said, even before Pitch Perfect had a trailer out, “Dude, I just can’t wait to go on Movieweb like I do every day, and see your face there. When they are releasing your thing!” It was so thrilling when he got to see that for the first time.
